Glacier national park announces the details of the many glacier valley, swiftcurrent area closure, beginning on sept.16 for road, parking, and pedestrian safety. The construction zone within the many glacier valley will be closed to vehicles, bikes and foot traffic.

During the full closure, october 2024 through april 2026, there would be no public vehicle access into the swiftcurrent valley. New for 2025, glacier national park is implementing a pilot vehicle.
